Students for Yemen is a network and resource for organizations and individuals dedicated to raising awareness, promoting education, and fundraising for the children of Yemen.  This will be accomplished with a social media campaign and fundraiser as well as supporting and promoting any Yemen-related events or initiatives of Partner Organizations. By using any materials or resources created by Students for Yemen whether independently or in conjunction with additional materials or resources you are agreeing to streamline any funds raised through Students for Yemen’s GoFundMe campaign page.

Partner organization and their respective members are invited to engage in a week-long social media campaign (beginning 9/14) culminating in a “bingo” fundraising graphic. Students for Yemen will provide partner organizations with infographics and customizable fundraising materials, an easy system for participant recruitment, and details for publishing a customizable fundraising page for your organization within the Students for Yemen campaign under the official UNICEF USA GoFundMe. Sign up for more details!

For organizations that have additional philanthropic efforts and events in mind, Students for Yemen hopes to support and recognize these organizations on the organizational committee. Students for Yemen will promote events or initiatives that partner organizations run and facilitate on this website, social media, and to all participating organizations and their members. Thanks to NAAMA NextGen’s sponsorship, Students for Yemen can also provide organizational committee members Zoom webinar functionality, debrief notes from previous events, and assistance securing speakers from a vast network of health and service professionals.

As a part of the recruitment committee, participating organizations will be responsible for recruiting additional organizations to Students for Yemen from their community. By October, Students for Yemen will provide members of the recruitment committee a list of all partner organizations and their members in their respective locality.

Interested in participating independently of any organization? Independent participants are invited to engage with the social media campaign by reposting @students.for.yemen's infographics in the week of 9/14 and to participate in the "bingo" fundraising graphic. Independent participants interested in organizing a group of participants should sign up as a Partner Organization with an chosen team name in the "Organization Name" field.
